For sale is a unique set of two (2) authentic historical documents from the famous Proshek Brothers Brewery (Brauerei Brüder Proschek) in Sofia, Bulgaria, dating back to 1924 and 1931.
These documents are official employment certificates issued to a worker named Georgi Kirkov. They offer a fascinating glimpse into early industrial and automotive history.
Key Historical Features:
Rare Automotive Context: The 1924 document explicitly states that the employee worked in the "Garage" department as a locksmith and car mechanic ("шлисеръ и монтьоръ"). During the 1920s, motor vehicles were extremely rare in Bulgaria, making this a highly unique piece of early European automotive history.
The 1931 Document: Confirms his continued service as an automobile mechanic ("монтьоръ по автомобилитѣ") until 1931.
Official Markings: Both documents feature authentic Bulgarian fiscal/revenue stamps (5 Leva) with official refinery/brewery ink stamps, typewritten text on official company letterhead, and administrative hand-signed signatures on behalf of the "Brothers Proshek" company management.
Unique Canvas Backing: The reverse side of the paper is reinforced with traditional archival gauze/canvas backing (linen backing), a method used in the early 20th century to protect heavily handled documents from tearing.
