We are advertising this job position to candidates who have previous experience working in busy cafe / hospitality environments.
We are seeking cafe cooks & front of house staff. Please be advised these are busy cafe locations, speed, organisation and eye for detail are key requirements. All members of staff must work as a team and will uphold all cafe duties. Team work is essential.
Roles Available
We are hiring for the following positions:
1. Kitchen Staff / Prep Cook / Cook / Kitchen Porter
• Prepare fresh hot sandwiches, fried foods, baked potatoes, salads, sandwiches, and cakes.
• Work efficiently during busy peak periods to maintain limited wait times for customers.
• Full training provided to ensure you can thrive as part of a supportive team.
2. Front of House Staff / Barista / Cleaner
• Serve customers with a welcoming attitude and ensure their experience is 5-star.
• Keep tables clean and ready for new visitors.
• Stock cake fridges, drink fridges, and condiments.
• Maintain the cafe’s cleanliness and visual appeal as part of the guest’s first impression.
• No barista experience required; we use Nespresso coffee machines.
What We’re Looking For
• No prior experience needed—training will be provided!
• Enthusiasm for the food and hospitality industry.
• Team players who are eager to learn and contribute to the cafe’s success. Willingness to work hard and dedicated to the job.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment during peak hours.
What We Offer
• 6-month position or permanently immediate start
• Competitive hourly rate.
• Daily transport to and from work.
Location, Start Date & Working Hours
· 5 different café sites located in Scotland, East Lothian & Midlothian on the out skirts of Edinburgh.
· Cafes are open 7 days per week from 08.30 to 17.00
· Starting employment from 1 st April 2025 onwards, seasonal opportunity for 6 months employment – To be discussed in more detail. You will be expected to start work on 1st March.
