The IT/Software Support Engineer is a key part of the management and support of global infrastructure in a top product company.
Requirements:
You’ll have an analytical mind and excel at solving IT problems,
collaborating mostly with the other technical teams to find the right
the solution to a variety of IT tasks
Perform management and administration Linux based operating systems (Red Hat experience is an advantage)
Basic scripting skills (e.g. bash, Perl)
Support external Linux and network engineers vendors and internal team
members in providing technical information related to projects
Knowledge/experience with Networking - IP routing/routing configuration/protocols
Advantages:
RDBMS / SQL knowledge/experience
Knowledge in Web-based client/server applications (for example any of WebLogic, Web Services, Nginx, Apache)
Some cloud experience is an advantage
