ITR Management Consult (ITR MC) https://itrm-consult.com/ is a Bulgarian company, based in Varna, which manages Nearshore IT Center, providing IT services to its current and potential clients via dedicated IT teams, focusing on the regions DACH, Benelux and Northern Europe.

We are searching for 2 full time Intermediate Java/Scala Developers, who will support consulting company, providing services for the pharmaceutical business.

What is expected from your technical background:

● at least 3 years, full-time experience in software development with Java and Scala;

● understanding in programming with Python;

● familiarity with Apache Maven;

● having experience with object-oriented as well as functional programming;

● experience with CI/CD;

● experience with source control based on GIT and Nexus;

● Cloud development experience, e.g. AWS, Azure, etc.;

● Experience with containerization technologies, e.g. Docker, etc.

● experience with relational and non-relational data base systems;

● possess university degree in Computer Science or similar specialty, e.g. Informatics, IT engineering.

Would be a plus:

● certificates from online academies and training courses;

● experience with HTML/JavaScript;

● if you are familiar and have used Jenkins;

● if you are familiar and have used IntelliJ IDEA;

● if you are familiar and have experience with Kafka and Camel;

● having experience with longing with some of the following tools: Logstash, ElasticSearch or Kibana or similar solutions;

● experience with Eclipse/Scala IDE, Bitbucket, JIRA is an advantage.

Main Responsibilities:

Main responsibilities are related with:

● new code development and incidents remediation;

● ensure that your code meets software development and quality standards;

● creation of tasks based on user stories, test plans and test scripts;

● knowledge transfer;

● communicate with various teams;

● keep up-to-date documentation.

How will we understand each other:

● Fluency in English is a must.

● Bulgarian is absolutely welcome.

● German, Polish, Russian are bonus.

How we work

● Start with a daily check call, which will be reduced to 2-3 times per week.

● Tasks are distributed and being communicated through existing tools, e.g. JIRA, Chat, Email, etc.

● Plan your activities based on predefined milestones.

● You will get the necessary accounts for email, collaboration and tasks tracking tools.
