Bid Management Associate
About the Role
This position will work closely with the Global Bid Manager, Global Sales and Local Offices and benefit from on–the-job training and coaching while supporting experienced bid management colleagues. This is an entry level role into the Global Bid Management team, but the role will also be expected to take ownership of smaller/simpler bid requests and standard pricing requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Global Bid Managers on Global Deals (All Practices).
- Assist in preparing global proposals, coordinate communications, deliverables and schedules/bid plans.
- Prepare and consolidate commercial fees received from standard price books and/or multiple countries.
- Liaise with business development team colleagues, overseas offices, business partners and other key stakeholders.
- Monitor the on-going status of assigned tasks and facilitate calls to discuss progress or issues.
- Assist in final production of submittal of global proposals according to specifications including review, proof reading and editing of responses
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements
- First experience in bid management is preferred, but not required
- Good Microsoft user (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills, proficient in spoken and written English
- Self-learner, who is able and willing to learn from experience
