The IC-R5 is the replacement for the popular IC-R2 with many improvements.
These include a built-in ferrite rod antenna, a total of 1250 memory channels.
A super wide range of 0.150 to 1309.995MHz in AM, FM and WFM modes, including
terrestrial analogue TV. In addition when listeningt to FM broadcast stations
there is a choice of using the main antenna or a cable running from the
optional earphone. The IC-R5 comes complete with BC-07 UK battery charger, 2x
AA rechargeable batteries, FA-S270C antenna, belt clip and handbook.
