Bottom end in the big ported enclosures is handled by 12 inch woofer, mids (crossed over at 2000Hz) are via a 4.5 inch driver, and highs (crossed over at 8kHz) are produced by a 2.5 inch tweeter behind a downward dispersing radiator assembly. For those whose hearing still goes that high there is also a small “super tweeter” which handles frequencies above 15kHz. It’s an impressive mix that gives these units a frequency range of 27Hz to 23kHz!

The heavy enclosures are finished in vinyl woodgrain (which has a couple of blemishes, but on the whole is in good condition) and the wedge-shaped grille assemblies can be removed if required.
