Description
The SA8336 is a single-channel, low-RDS(on) DC motor driver IC designed for multi-cell battery-powered systems. It integrates functions for forward rotation, reverse rotation, stop, and braking. The SA8336 features built-in overcurrent and output short-circuit protection. When the current flowing through the MOSFETs exceeds the limit, internal circuitry turns off the power MOSFETs and cuts off the load current. Operation automatically resumes (reactivating the power MOSFETs) once the current drops below the set threshold. The SA8336 includes thermal protection; if the chip temperature exceeds the limit set by the internal thermal protection circuit, the internal circuitry turns off the integrated power switches and cuts off the load current. The SA8336 features a PWM (INA/INB) input interface, ensuring compatibility with industry-standard devices. Features
