Better Homes and Gardens
BH&G has been around since forever and they have consistantly published the finest publications for the needle artist. I`ve always thought they well understood that cross-stitch was a classic needleart and worked to preserve this heritage. This book does not disappoint. Published in 1988, 22 years ago, it is still fresh as when issued. The motifs are charming and in some cases challenging. Check out the unusual headboard and bedskirt on page 122 or the Della Robbia Christmas Tablecloth on page 136. These pieces are already family heirlooms somewhere. There is much more in this book and they do break things down so that stitchers of all levels can create beauiful pieces for all occasions or inclinations. It`s not one to be missed. Get one while they are still available. It is a classic.
