Edition Municipale, a most unusual travel piece that is in amazing
condition. It is an advertising booklet for the shops and sites around
Marseille in the late 1950s. It has several color plates but is mostly
in black and white. It is such a cool step back in time. It is in both
French and English. I included several pages of ads and color plates of
the famous Corniche, an iconic promenade above the sea. Keep the book
in tact or frame the individual pages. There are airline ads, product
ads, restaurant ads, night club ads, silver ads, fashion ads, crystal
ads, and more. There are also lists of hotels, cousulates, rental car
companies, museums, churches and more. The book measures approximately 7
1/8" X 5 1'4" X 1/4" and some of the pages are semi gloss and some are
matt.
